The latest UFO videos from the US Navy

I have written an earlier post about UFO sightings, and concluded at that time that several of the photos and sightings were of American experimental plane, a version of the flying saucer, like the Avrocar. Americans tried in the 1960s to develop a plane of this type, but it was not stable enough for a manned airplane. Very recently the US Navy confirmed that three UFO videos, called FLIR1, Gimbal and GoFast are authentic. I briefly looked at these videos and it looks to me that Americans have made an unmanned version of the flying saucer. Apparently it is intended to be used by the Navy and the advantages of the shape, judging from the three video clips, seem to be the following:

1) The drone can fly very fast on a low altitude. Most planes cannot fly fast on a low altitude because air forms a pillow, which pushes the plane up. I assume that the drone is rotating and the movement is similar as in throwing the olympic discus.  The video GoFast shows the impressive speed the drone can achieve over water.

2) The drone can suddenly speed to a new direction. This is seen in the video FLIR1. I do not quite know why the flying saucer shape should give this advantage, but at least it does not need to turn towards the flying direction as it is similar in all horizontal directions.

3) The plane type always had an instability problem. I think this is demonstrated in the video Gimbal, which unfortunately is truncated just where the things would get interesting. The plane rotates, then the clip ends.

How do I know that this is not an UFO from the outer space?

I think it is relatively obvious from the reactio0ns of the pilots. Consider two possibilities:

            A) The pilots are there in order to record a test of a drone version of Avrocar. They know that Avrocar had some extremely nice properties, such as being able to fly fast in a low altitude, but after an expensive development effort, the concept was discarded because of instability issues. Now they know that for a drone those issues are not so critical. They enthusiastically watch the impressive flying performance this plane has.

            B) They do not know what the plane is. Being normal rational military people, they initially assume that what they are seeing is a Russian or Chinese plane, which exceeds the performance the US can currently achieve. They would be less likely to be enthusiastic about this plane: it would be a threat. They would be even less likely to admire the flying capabilities of the UFO if they would think that there may be coming an attack from Mars or outer space.

I do not know about you, but for me the reactions fit better to A.

What could this new drone mean in the military sense? Cruise missiles can fly low, but they are quite slow. The flying saucer may be an important step in avoiding radars and interception by shooting down drones. It best suits to the Navy as flying low is easiest over the sea. On the ground there are wires and other obstacles. So, this may be an important step for the military. For some reason the US Navy wants it known that it has this capability.
