The close the world seems to be to the end, form overpopulation, or overheating, or a nuclear disaster, or over-whatever, the fewer people seem to spend any time in calculating the end of the time from the Bible. Such calculations used to be quite a popular hobby in some circles, but today, when there is much more reasons to expect and end of the world than in any other time in the history, nobody calculates these times.
Well, I like to calculate all kind of things. If you can solve some old problem by simple calculations, in an undeniable way, it is a good way to crack such issues.
In an earlier post I mentioned that the Jewish seven thousand year scheme, using the original years for patriarchs from Septuagint or the Dead Sea Scrolls gives the end of the world around 2033 AD. This is a very robust calculation and the date cannot change much. It is simply so that the traditional date for the Deluge of Noah is about 3000 BC. The Deluge must be the division between the 2000 years before the law and 2000 years after the law, as Noah got a law, the Noahide laws. Thus, the Messianic 2000 years must have started around 1000 BC, around the time of David, the king Messiah is David’s son. It follows that Jesus appeared in the middle of the Messianic period, which must have ended around 1000 AD, After the Messianic 2000 years finished, there followed the final 1000 years of the 7000 year cycle, which means that we should be very much at the end of the 7000 years.
This calculation can be made more precise. Josephus Flavius states on Against Apius that the temple of Solomon was started 968 BC. From that year to the traditional year of crucifixion, 33 AD, is 1000 years. Thus, the Messianic time ended in 1033 AD and the last 1000 years will end 2033 AD. Going backwards in time all times fit nicely. Abraham should have made the covenant with God 1000 years before the temple, in the mid point of the time of law, in 1968 BC, and the covenant of Noah would be 2968 BC. The 2000 years before the law splits into the time of Enoch around 3968 BC and the time of Enos 4968 BC. Enos was the third from Adam, so the creation of Adam dates around 5500 BC by Septuagint. That is not the creation of man as an animal, nor the creation of the world, as the Bible does not specify the length of the six days of creation. This 7000 years cycle only means a period of our present world, the present culture of agriculture. This is a Jewish version of an older cycle theory, but anyway, it predicts the end of the cycle to 2033 AD. Naturally, the world will not end at the end of the cycle: the cycle ends but the Earth stays.
The Book of Revelation also gives a prediction to the end of the world. Nicely it is the same as given by the 7000 year period. I give this calculation here: it is not at all difficult. Some people consider Revelation as a difficult book to interpret, which it is not. You only have to find a key to decode it. This key is to notice that the book falls into five pieces.
Chapters: 1-3: greetings to the congregations.
Chapters 5-10: one prophecy. In the end John is asked to prophecy again.
Chapters 11-18: a second prophecy of the same events as in Chapters 5-10.
Chapters 12-21: prophecy of the time after the previous prophecy is filled.
Chapter 22: assurance that Jesus comes again.
Comparing the two prophecies in Ch. 5-10 and Ch. 11-18 we see that they are very similar. Ch. 5-10 splits as:
Chapter 4: a vision of Heaven/Sky, mentioning the sea of glass
Chapter 5: slaughtered lamb, this must be 33 AD, just after crucifixion

Chapter 7: 144,000 elected and a large crowd of martyrs

Chapter 8: silence in Heaven, scourges
Chapter 9: a war scene

Chapter 10: a scroll, apparently this scroll
While Ch. 11-18 splits as:
Chapter 11: two witnesses, earthquake of 33 AD, Jesus becomes the king.
Chapter 12: a vision of the night sky (astrological)

Chapter 14: 1440,000 elected, Babylon has fallen, collecting harvest (martyrs)

Chapter 17: the harlot of Babylon is condemned
Chapter 18: Babylon is destroyed
We can see that the divisions are very similar. Both prophecies start from the crucifixion of Jesus in 33 AD and they end to the war where Babylon is destroyed. The war can be identified from chapter 17. This chapter explains clearly that the Beast is a city with seven hills. That can only be Rome. The chapter gives the number of kings of the Beast. There has been five (Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius, Nero), one is (Vespasianus), one is yet to come (Titus), and the eight is one of the seven (Domitian). This list omits the three emperors, who ruled very shortly in the year of four emperors. The Book of Revelation was written by John of Patmos and several Church fathers date it to the time just before Domitian died, in 96 AD. This dating is very well justified. Thus, the scene of Chapter 16 is backdated to the time of Vespasianus. Domitian (the 8. king) is reborn Nero, as both Nero and Domitian persecuted Christians. Nero is the Beast, who was mortally wounded and recovered (as being reborn as Domitian).
The number 666 of the Beast confirms that this emperor is Nero. Firstly, we can be sure that the number gives the name of one of the emperors in the list: Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius, Nero, Vespasianus, Titus and Domitian. Only one name gives 666 in any calculation. The calculation uses Jewish gematria, but spells Caesar Nero in Hebrew as
Nun, Vav, Reish, Nun Reish, Samech, Koof. The letters have the values Nun=50, Vav=6, Reish=200, Samech=60, Koof=100 and the sum is 666. In modern Hebrew Caesar Nero is not written in this way. It is Nun final, Vav, Reich, Yud, Nun Reish, Samech, Yud, Koof and the sum is different. Nun has the value 50, but Nun final is 700. Yud has the value 10. Thus, in modern Hebrew Caesar Nero has the value 666-50+700+10+10=1336. However, it is logical that John of Patmos wrote Caesar Nero differently. Hebrew was not a spoken language at that time. John spoke either Greek or Aramean as his mother’s tongue. Writing Yud as the letter e is incorrect, as Yud is the letter i. There is no letter e in Hebrew and it is correct to omit this letter, just as ae is omitted. Vowels are usually not written in Hebrew. Using Nun final at the end of the word is also a matter of taste. If the word Neron (in Hebrew it is Neron, not Nero) is treated as a word, there should be Nun final, but if it is a sequence of letters, it can end to Nun. Thus, this decoding, probably from Ralf Steinbrügger, is very well justified.
It follows that the time when the Harlot is condemned is the time of Vespasianus. Consequently, the Harlot is Jerusalem. This is confirmed by two places: In Rev. 18:7 the harlot says that she is a queen and not a widow, while Jerusalem is the widow of Christ, and in Rev. 11:8 the city is called Sodom and Egypt and is the city where Jesus was crucified.
We can identify some other enigmatic parts of the text. The other beast in Chapter 13 refers to all antichrist figures, that is, false teachers. These teachers include the priests of Israel, who collaborated with Rome. It also includes Jewish and Samaritan magic makers, like Simon Magus. Letters of apostles confirm that the antichrist is not a single person, just like the beast is not a single emperor of Rome: it is all deified Roman emperors and especially those, who persecuted Christians. The vision in Chapter 12 is naturally a night sky vision where the dragon is Draco and the woman is Ursa Minor. The heavenly temple of Ursa Minor is the square and it has two bright stars: Kochab and Pherkad, the pillars of the temple. They were for a time the closest stars to the celestial North Pole, where the God was thought to reside, but around the time of Jesus the celestial North Pole had moved out of the square. This explains the phrase “we are leaving” that Josephus tells was heard in the sky in 66 AD. The celestial North Pole headed towards Polaris, but Polaris was closest to the North Pole only starting around 1000-1100 AD.
We have seen that the prophecies of the Book of Revelation in the Chapters 5-18 had already happened when John wrote the apocalypse. He wrote it as a confirmation or witness that Jesus is the Christ. The prophecy for the future is in the Chapters 19 to 21. It follows closely Old Testament prophecies. In Chapter 19 there is the wedding of Christ to the Church. The wedding can be dated to 33 AD or latest to 70 AD. Then the King Messiah wins the war. Christians did not wage war in the early times, thus this Messiah can be identified with Vespasianus: Josephus Flavius declared Vespasianus as the Messiah of the prophecies. Therefore the white rider is dated to 70 AD. The thousand year reign of the Christ and the Church started around 33 AD to 70 AD and ended a thousand years later.
The war of Gog and Magog follows these events, starting with the Crusades 1070 AD. This war has not ended yet, because had it ended, God would have created new skies and new earth, as in Chapter 21, but God could not create new skies and new earth before the 7000 year cycle is finished. Thus, the war of Gog and Magog must last for 1000 years. Raising of the dead may well have happened, as it can mean that souls are reborn in new bodies. The Earth population has grown so much that there is lots of place for old souls to have been reborn.
As a conclusion, the Book of Revelations predicts the end of the world, the end of the 700 year cycle, that is, to the same time as the years of the patriarchs, around 2033-2070 AD. You see that these Jewish prophecies are quite simple to decode. All you need is some experience with their symbolic way of writing. I may still give a calculation from Daniel in a future post. I have done it long ago, I remember it points to the same time, but better to check again. As for if you should believe that something ends when the Jewish 7000 years cycle ends, I leave it to you to decide, but the weather is changing, that’s what it looks like. Personally, I am not interested in their truth value. I just decode the intended meaning in these writings. They have an intended meaning and they are not that hard to decode.

That is new to me, 3-4 blood moons. There is in average 1 in 2-3 years. Have to check that one.
Also, I got 2030 – 2035 by studying the Book of Enoch which predicts the birth of Christ to the very year. Considering Enoch was a prophet, supposedly administered by angles, it would seem that this book would be canon in the church, and in fact, it was read in by the early apostles. The Roman Catholic Church banned it and it went out of existence for thousands of years, until Israel was created and the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. The Book of Enoch is now read by many curious Christians.
The Book of Enoch opens with the verse, written by Enoch that the book is NOT MEANT for my generation or for the next but for a very remote generation to come. Well here we are, the Book of Enoch can be purchased everywhere, and interestingly, I was able to get a similar date as yours.

This is a bit hard to follow, but I try. So, you suggest that there exists some group that is fascinated by numbers, like 33 AD +2000 years, and creates events like 911 just to fit to some occult number scheme. There was such a group in the time of Jesus and still in the Middle Ages, Messianic Jews, Kabbalists. And there were some esoteric Freemasons and occultists in the 19th century who did these kinds of things, but today is 2021. I think people are more practical now and the symbolism you find from events close to our time may be more simply explained by coincidences and reading a meaning where there is none intended. But in old times, there were such times when dates and all kinds of symbolism was important and prophesies were intentionally fulfilled and many things had symbolic meaning. But I doubt it is so any more. My guess is that today they only care about money and power.

As David and Solomon were also anointed (Messiah means anointed), we must start the Messianic period from David or latest from Solomon’s temple. Starting from Solomon’s temple there is exactly 1000 years to the crucifixion of Jesus by the year when the building of Solomon’s temple commenced given by Josephus Flavius (i.e., soon after Jesus’ time, Josephus Flavius was a Hasmonean with royal roots, he know the correct interpretation at that time). This means that 1000 years after crucifixion is 1033 AD and the 7-thousand year period ended 2033 AD. It is not 3000 years after the time of Jesus, but it is the latest time in the period and if a new temple is built, it must happen soon after that time, in the beginning of the new world (new 7-thousand year era, a world). Your interpretation is against the Christian interpretation (that there will not be any new physical temple and temple means the body of Jesus) and against the Jewish interpretation at the time of Jesus (which is that the 7-thousand year period ends in 2033 AD). Your interpretation can only fit to the Talmudic Jewish interpretation where the ages of patriarchs were changed in order to show that Jesus was not the Messiah. But if you use Talmudic Jewish interpretation, then you cannot refer to words of Jesus as for Jews Jesus is in boiling extrement in Hell.
