Modified Tansanian beans in coconut milk

This recipe is originally from Tansania but I make a very simple variant of it. You need two cans of brown beans in tomato sauce. I use one with larger beans and another with smaller. Find two onions and some 3-5 nails of garlic, one tomato, one small can of coconut milk, and maybe something green, like leek or chive, rice, and you need spices and olive oil for cooking.

Chop the onions and garlic into small pieces and fry them on a pan.

Pour most but not all of the tomato sauce from the beans and add them to the pan.

Add sliced tomato and what ever green you have.

Add the coconut milk and mix.

Add spices.

What spices? I add salt, black pepper, hot paprika and lots of kurkuma (tumeric). At the same time cook rice with some salt. Put the beans on top of the rice. It is quite good. If you like, add a hot red pepper in three pieces, it makes a real African touch to the food.
